1st Annual BC Free-mo Meet
 

Coldslap Free-mo is sponsoring and organising a BC Free-mo meet, that we hope will develop into a large, annual event. For 2013, the event will be held from 09:00 June 21 through 6:00 PM June 23 in Chilliwack BC . It will be a private event, paid for by the participants, in the true spirit of Free-mo. As such, the public will not be invited, nor will other railroad modelers. Guest operators will not be welcomed (your own child may operate in your stead, assuming he/she is supervised).

Venue: Big Valley Agriplex, Big Valley, AB

Event Dates: 2013 August 15 through 18

Operator Fees:

Full Operator: $30 for unlimited running time within the Operating Procedures.

There will be a Free-Mo set-up at this year's Willard, Ohio Train
Festival. This will be the second year in a row that the Free-Mo layout
will be one of the main attractions in the model railroad area of the
festival.

The dates for this year's festival are September 14 & 15, 2013. The
Free-Mo layout set-up will be on Friday, September 13. Run Chief for
this year's layout is Bill Gawthrop, Southeast Michigan Free-Mo
Group

Principal participants in the layout organization and planning include
members of the Western Reserve Free-Mo Group and Southeast Michigan
Free-Mo Group.

At the NMRA National Train Show the summer of 2015 in Portland, Oregon, there will be a multi-group Free-mo set-up. Details are vague at the moment, but will be firmed up in time. Portland is not TOO far away from you, so you may consider joining. Portland is about a 7-hour drive from my house.
